Attorney Roberta Kaplan on Friday urged the jury in the E. Jean Carroll damages trial to bring the hammer down on former President Donald Trump for defaming her client.

In her closing argument, Kaplan recounted how Trump had continued to attack Carroll publicly even after a jury last year awarded her $5 million and found him liable for defaming and sexually abusing her.

"Consider what Donald Trump has done here," said Kaplan, as transcribed by reporter Matthew Russell Lee of Inner City Press. "He said she made it up, she was a disgrace; he threatened her twice, he unleashed millions of others to flood her with hate. We played his deposition — he called her mentally sick, and threatened to sue."

Kaplan then played a clip of Trump mocking Carroll at a CNN town hall appearance that elicited laughter from the pro-MAGA audience.

Kaplan also played video footage of Trump holding a press conference attacking her while she was taking the stand to discuss her experiences of being subjected to his abuse.

She then implored the jury to finally make Trump keep his mouth shut about Carroll by walloping him with a giant verdict.

"It's up to you to make him stop," she said. "He is very wealthy. He said his brand is worth $10 billion."
