This is fantastic.
@Tribo Now that’s cool.
@Tribo This is totally cool.
@Tribo These gloves do NOT translate #SignLanguage into audible speech. Deaf people do not want gloves, they want human interpreters!
Please stop sharing stories about these gloves.
@Tribo Where can it be seen in action? There's a lot of talk about it, but sadly I've only found still images. Has anyone found a demo video somewhere? Cheers!

Sign language gloves have been around for 6+ years:

Pass this on
@Tribo I love how these gloves looks like something a supervillain would wear, it makes the real use that much more dramatic. Lots of love to this innovator!
@Tribo Also this should totally be called the "Vocabulary Gauntlet." :)
@Tribo hey that's nice, but they don't translate sign language. They translate a spoken language (letters) manually encoded by hands into audio. Still nice.
To translate Sign Language you need to get all the phonemes (Handshape, Orientation, Location, Movement and Expression).

@Tribo this is amazing…I love it when a GENIUS builds a bridge in how we communicate! The ramifications of this are mind bending…and beautiful. To cite my favorite poet, Shel Silverstein, this is “where the sidewalk ends….” I’ll add, “”and where the magic begins”
