Does free trade breed rich and powerful enemies? Should we continue to use trade to strengthen our economies, keep our enemies close and help smooth over global conflict? With European dependence on Russian oil, along with China's growth in power, it appears to many as if free trade was a grave error. Andrew Adonis, John Kay and Janne Teller take trade to task

Andrew Adonis is a Labour Politian, leading journalist and academic. John Kay is a bestselling author and one of the UK's most renowned economists. Janne Teller is a novelist and former conflict advisor for the UNO and EU. Hosting this debate is journalist and columnist at the Irish Times, Finn McRedmond.
